Breath has an enormous impact on our mental and emotional wellbeing. It’s a key bridge between your body and your brain.
When you’re under chronic stress and even feeling burnt out, your breath is affected. It’s likely to be:
Shallow: only in your chest, not your belly
Fast: even when you’re not moving
Held: forgetting to breathe when concentrating
Tense: breathing feels forced or tight
