What is Somatic Breathwork?
Somatic Breathwork is a guided practice that uses intentional breathing patterns to influence the autonomic nervous system.
In simple terms: it helps shift the body out of chronic “fight-or-flight” and into a more regulated state.
This matters because many people are operating with a constantly elevated stress response, whether they realize it or not.
That shows up physically as:
Persistent muscle tension and guarding.
Difficulty relaxing, even after treatment- whether that be a chiropractic adjustment, physical therapy, massage, or other form of bodywork.

Hi, I’m Jen, a Somatic Breathwork Practitioner and a Holistic Health and Leadership Coach.
My training as a somatic breathwork practitioner is with SOMA+IQ™, and I am also skilled in additional breathwork modalities, often called “pranayama”. My goal is to guide my clients through a transformative experience and also help them incorporate breathwork into their daily life so that the effects are long lasting.
As a coach, I specialize in helping high-performing women with burnout prevention and recovery. Somatic Breathwork and other approaches to nervous system regulation form a key part of that work (learn more about it HERE).
